Crydom announce the availability of 3 new accessories to support the release of the new S1 design. The new accessories include the KS101 plastic touch safe cover and 2 hardware kits (HK3 & HK4) for facilitating alternative termination options.
The KS101 is a clear touch safe, snap-fit protective cover designed for the new Crydom S1 Solid State Relays, and it is backwards compatible therefore replacing the KS100 cover.

Crydom’s High Performance CW Series of Solid State Relays is now available with a Universal AC/DC voltage input in addition to the Standard 3 to 32 VDC and 90 to 280 VAC inputs. The new “U” input versions accept either 20 to 48 VDC or 20 to 280 VAC control signals, affording greater flexibility for OEM equipment applications where field interface control requirements may vary.
The Crydom CW Series of Solid State Relays includes AC output rating from 10 amps to 125 amp, at 24 to 660 VAC, with zero voltage for resistive and capacitive loads, and random turn-on for inductive loads. The new “U” or Universal Input option rating of 20 to 48 VDC or 20 to 280 VAC, compliments the traditional “D” input of either 3 or 4 to 32 VDC and “A” input of 90 to 280 VAC. Crydom CW Series Solid State Relays offer 4 kV optical isolation and include standard EMC compliance to IEC61000 -4 specifications, CE certification to the Low Voltage and EMC Directives, include standard LED input status indicator and IP20 touch safe cover as well as UL and cUL recognition, RoHS and China RoHS compliance, and REACH certification.

Crydom’s successful SeriesOne DR family of Solid State Relays and Timers rated at 6 or 12 amp now includes 12 new models rated at 3 amp AC and DC. Utilizing Crydom’s proprietary thermal management system and proven Solid State Relay Technology, the new 3 Amp output versions offer a combination of excellent performance and reliability at an affordable price. SeriesOne DR Solid State Relays are ideal for use in panels to control a variety of resistive and inductive loads in benign to harsh environments.
The new 11 mm wide models include AC output ratings of 3 amp at 40 °C ambient temperature at 12 to 280 VAC or 24 to 600 VAC, and DC output ratings of 3 amp at 40°C at 1 to 60 or 1 to 100 VDC. The SeriesOne DR features 4 to 32 VDC, 90 to 140 VAC, 208 to 265 VAC and 18 to 36 VAC inputs and includes an LED input status indicator.
AC output versions offer 3.75 kV all solid state optical isolation with SCR outputs available in either zero voltage for resistive loads or random turn on for inductive loads. DC outputs offer 2.5kV all solid state optical isolation with FET output for either resistive or inductive load applications. SeriesOne DR Solid State Relays are RoHS and China RoHS compliant, CE certified, UL listed and cUL listed including both General Purpose and Motor Controller ratings.

Crydom’s renowned Solid State Relay technology is now available combined with 8 different Microprocessor based timing functions including a total of 18 possible timing variations. Ideal for use in control panels for direct control of contactors, solenoids, motors, heaters, lights, etc. The SeriesOne DR Timer series is available with either 6 amp/24 to 280 VAC output rating or 6 amp/1 to 60 VDC output rating, both at 40°C ambient temperature…. ratings well in excess of most Solid State Output Timers in the market today, therefore allowing direct control of many loads thus eliminating the need for interfacing power relays often required for use with lower power timers.
Available timing functions include “A” & “At” delay on make, “B” single shot, “C” delay on break, “H” & “Ht” interval, “L” & “Li” repeat cycle, and “U” multifunction that includes A, At, Ac, B, Bw, C, D, Di, H, and Ht functions. Basic timing function selection is user settable via screw slot rotary switches on the side of the SeriesOne DR Timers, while unit and fine timing adjustments are made on the front panel of the Timers. This arrangement provides easy access to Technicians for simple timing adjustments but significantly reduces accidental changes to the basic function.
Control for the SeriesOne DR Timers, depending on model, is 12 to 24 VAC/DC for all models, with options of either 90 to 140 VAC or 180 to 240 VAC for AC outputs only. All Crydom SeriesOne DR Timers are UL listed and cUL recognized, UL Motor Control rated, RoHS and China RoHS compliant, and CE certified to the Low Voltage and EMC Directives.

Intended to assist in matching a SSR or SSC to single-phase and three-phase motors, this web based tool is focused on using relevant ratings from the motor load to select a Crydom part number with suitable UL ratings.

Complementing the successful Crydom Series H1 1200 Volt Blocking models, the new models now offer even higher levels of breakdown voltage and noise immunity (>1600 volts) for applications in installations where electrical transients are common and might otherwise damage less robust SSRs. The new Crydom Series H1 models include AC output ratings up to 90 amps at 660 VAC, with available control voltage of 4 to 32 VDC.
The Series H1 1600 Volt Blocking models feature 4000 VAC optical isolation, optional LED input status indicator, optional installed thermal pad and are available in either Zero Voltage or Random Turn-On versions. Crydom offers a variety of accessories for the Series H1 including a plastic touch safe cover, terminal lugs accepting up to 1 AWG wire, heat sinks rated from 5.0 to 0.5 °C/W, and mounting hardware kits.
