The DTCD and DTCJ 1.27 mm pitch DIP switches are ultra-miniature SMD components designed for high-density electronic applications. With a low profile height of just 2.2 mm and up to 46% PCB space savings compared to traditional 2.54 mm solutions, they enable significant footprint reduction without compromising functionality.
Available in Gullwing and J-bend terminations, both versions are optimized for automated SMT assembly, reducing manufacturing complexity and cost. The switches support up to 1000 mechanical cycles and operate reliably across a temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C. Low contact resistance (≤100 mΩ initial) and stable electrical ratings (up to 100 mA @ 50 V) ensure consistent signal performance.
Typical applications include address setting and configuration in industrial controls, communication systems (e.g., RS485/Modbus), server hardware (BIOS/CMOS), consumer appliances, and medical devices. The plug-in surge arresters SPPVT2 and SPPVT12 are developed especially for photovoltaic applications. They protect the installations against transient overvoltages that can be induced by direct or indirect lightning strikes.
SPPVT12: Homes with rooftop solar PV installations represent an additional vulnerability that requires surge protection. Usually this requires Type 1/2 combinations, for DC protection - based on whether the building has also a requirement for an external lightning protection system. SPPVT12 is developed especially for photovoltaic applications and protects the installations against transient overvoltages induced by direct lightning strikes.
SPPVT2: Type 2 PV surge protection is required, when there is no risk for direct lightning strikes but indirect surges can occur. SPPVT2 protects the inverter and installations against transient overvoltage due to switching and indirect lightning strikes.
These surge arresters are suitable for a wide range of surge protection in a large number of systems.
