Honeywell’s SNG-Q Series Quadrature Speed and Direction Sensors with 4-wire quadrature sensing is the first release of the new SNG-Q Series Speed Sensor Platform.
The sensor design and manufacturing use a platform-based approach that enables cost-competitiveness and mechanical and electrical configurability.
The SNG-Q Series provide both speed and direction information. Speed information is provided from digital square wave outputs; direction is provided using a quadrature output with signals 90° phase shifted from each other. With the quadrature output, target direction is determined by output lead/lag phase shifting. This product is designed for applications where enhanced accuracy is required to detect small target features. This enhanced accuracy is enabled by dual differential Hall-effect sensor IC technology. The SNG-Q Series is designed for a wide operating temperature range, robust electrical noise immunity and industry leading environmental sealing capability. This product includes an O-ring seal for pressure applications, and a fixed mounting flange for simple installation using one fastener.

Honeywell’s PX2 Series Heavy Duty Pressure Transducers are a portfolio of highly configurable pressure sensors that use piezoresistive sensing technology with ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) signal conditioning in a stainless steel housing. The PX2 Series is fully calibrated and compensated for offset, sensitivity, temperature effects and non-linearity using the on-board ASIC. This provides a Total Error Band of ±2% over the operating temperature range of -40 ºC to 125 ºC [-40 °F to 257 °F].
With thousands of possible configurations, the PX2 Series allows Honeywell to meet customer requirements and quickly provide samples. New standard configurations are regularly being added.
The PX2 Series is compatible with a variety of harsh media including brake fluid, common hydrofluorocarbon refrigerants, engine oil, tap water, hydraulic fluids, and compressed air. The wide operating temperature range, ingress protection up to IP69K, and 100 V/m radiated immunity allow for reliable performance in tough environments.
These transducers measure absolute, sealed gage, or vented gage pressure. The absolute versions have an internal vacuum reference and an output value proportional to absolute pressure, the sealed gage versions have an internal pressure reference of one atmosphere at sea level, and the vented gage versions measure pressure with respect to ambient pressure.

Honeywell Pressure Switches
High Pressure: HP Series, HE Series
Low Pressure: LP Series, LE Series
Honeywell Pressure Switches are durable, reliable electromechanical gauge pressure on/off switches that are available with either single pole single throw (SPST) normally open or normally closed circuitry, or single pole double throw (SPDT) circuitry. Their IP67 environmental sealing and high proof pressure and burst pressure ratings allow for use in many rugged applications that require the making or breaking of an electrical connection in response to a pressure change of the system media.
The media (gas or liquid) pressure is applied via the port of the switch to a diaphragm or sealed piston. A pre-compressed spring on the other side of the sealed piston or diaphragm controls the set-point pressure. If the force resulting from the pressure is greater than the load on the spring, the electrical contacts within the switch will change state. If thecontacts are normally open when no pressure is applied, they close on increasing pressure when the set point is reached. On decreasing pressure, the contacts will open again at a pressure somewhat less than the set switching point. The difference between the activation point on increasing pressure and the deactivation point on decreasing pressure is called hysteresis. The set point pressure for the switch can
be configured such that the switch will actuate on increasing or decreasing system pressure.
