Schurter launches a new choke family for very high currents. The new current-compensated choke DKUH-1 is designed for currents from 50 to 100A. Thanks to the high voltage of 800 VDC, they are suitable for high-power energy applications.
Powerful energy applications are becoming increasingly compact. This compact design, combined with high energy efficiency, leads to an increase in electromagnetic interference in modern electronic devices. High performance filter elements are required to combat this interference. Due to the compact dimensions, integration of the filter elements on printed circuit boards is an ideal solution. The new DKUH-1 series of chokes is particularly suitable for applications with high power consumption.
High-Performance Versions
The bifilar winding and nanocrystalline cores enable very high currents in relatively compact dimensions. The chokes are designed for high performance applications with high voltages up to 800 VDC.
Applications
The new high-current chokes are ideal for energy applications such as EV fast-charging stations, battery storage, photovoltaics, and energy converters. Additionally, the new chokes are also the ideal solution for many high-power industrial applications.

Bulgin is pleased to announce the 4000 Series – Single Pair Ethernet (SPE). The 4000 Series - Single Pair Ethernet joins the Circular Data Connector family, it is available in Flex variations, Front and Rear Panel Mounts, and 1m, 2m, 3m and 5m cable lengths in 22 and 26 AWG options.
The Single Pair Ethernet follows the 10BASE-T1L protocol, with uninterrupted IP communication from servers and the cloud down to the device level. SPE can supply power as well as data transfer in sophisticated industrial IoT implementations using power over Dataline.- It is compact, robust connector, with a thinner cable diameter making the 4000 SPE suitable for harsh environments. SPE is a flexible technology and can be customized to suit many different applications. Patch cord lengths, transmission speeds and network topologies can all be adjusted to suit the majority of situations. SPE can be used in controlled industrial settings for machinery and sensor connections, such as real time conditioning monitoring. Vision systems in smart agriculture can benefit from SPE for its real time delivery of data and customization capabilities. SPE also can be used in vehicle cabling for autonomous vehicles and an enabler for industry 4.0.
