The SPR10-T is a solid state remote power controller and is suitable for DC 12 V and DC 24 V applications. A special feature of the SPR10-T is that it combines switching and protecting functions in a single device. In addition, it offers status indication by means of LED and status output.
Unlike conventional electronic and mechanical relays, the SPR10-T provides integral overcurrent protection. An additional external overcurrent protection element is not required. In the event of a failure, only the faulty path is disconnected and the fault is indicated at the device or at the status output; all other circuits remain unaffected. This ensures quick and easy trouble-shooting and increases machine uptime and system availability.
Direct mounting on symmetrical rails allows fast and flexible installation. In addition, several devices can very easily be connected by means of busbars, reducing wiring time to a minimum.
With current ratings of 20A and 25A, the SPR10-T is particularly suitable for powerful loads with a high current demand and a cable cross sections up to 10mm².
The combination of these properties is, with a width of only 12.5 mm, an efficient and compact solution for your application. You do not only save components, storage costs and space in the control cabinet, but you also significantly reduce planning and wiring efforts.

Our power relays are designed to withstand the tough requirements of the commercial vehicle industry, especially for construction and agricultural machinery. With the new plug-in connector compatible with the HDSCS series we are now also part of the connection technology in modern on-board electrical systems.
The plug-in connector is made of robust thermoplastic with flammability class UL94 V0 and has an integrated secondary interlock with poka-yoke principle. Even under the toughest conditions the control connections can no longer come loose.
The cables can already be precut. During final assembly of the vehicle they are only to be plugged in and locked. Special tools such as tightening torques, Torx bits, crimping tools for cable sockets etc. are no longer required during final assembly.
The reverse polarity protected plug-in connection ensures a clear assignment of the control contacts.
The plug-in connector provides a robust and save connection. It is protected with IP 5k4 against penetrating dust and water.

Power Saving and Reduced Fuel Consumption also with a Monostable Design
In the event of a power disruption, the electro-mechanical MPR20 will at once go into its original state due to its monostable design. Monostable means that only one switching status is stable – which is normally the OFF condition. The ON condition can only be achieved by excitation of the coil.
The specific design with an electronically activated coil reduces the holding power by the factor 10. Reduction of holding power by 80 % and of the pull-in power by 50 % allows direct connection to the controlgear and provides additional cost and environmental advantages in spite of a monostable design.
