Schurter’s new 20A IEC inlet with EMI filter, series 5130 ECO design, meets the increasing demands of IT, medical and industrial appliances. The new ECO design provides cost savings and maximum performance in a lightweight and environmentally friendly compact package.
The 5130 combines an IEC C20 inlet with line filter in various mounting styles. The positive electrical contact of the broad metal flange to the chassis ensures optimal filtering and shielding. Mounting options include a front or rear version for traditional screw and nut mounting or rivet mounting. A version specifically for rear mounting features pre-formed threaded holes for M3 screws, which eliminates the handling of nuts and reduces labor costs. Crydom Solid State Relays (SSRs) are widely used in applications where controlling different types of motors is necessary. They are used for AC motor speed control, motor reversing, starting motors, soft starting and soft stopping of motors, motor starting switches of both single phase and three phase motors.
Crydom SSRs are also used to control DC motors. DC relays can be used as a switch, for reversing DC motors, or using PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) for DC motor speed controls.

New to Arcolectric’s extensive range of rocker switches is the 6100 IP67 panel sealed version. This neat, compact, sealed rocker switch will maintain sealing characteristics of the equipment without the use of external covers. Ingenious internal sealing provides the necessary seal while still maintaining a strong tactile feel.
Although external switch covers can be used to provide environmental sealing, they can often obscure the switch status and give an indistinct switching action, Arcolectric’s new switch solves these problems.

Positive Break Enhances Safety in Hazardous Environments
Honeywell introduces its MICRO SWITCH™ GSX Series Explosion-Proof Safety Switch. The GSX Series combines world-class MICRO SWITCH™ global limit safety product (GSS) with an explosion-proof housing from Honeywell’s LSX and BX product lines. The GSX Series Safety Switch platform provides over 10,000 actuator and switching option combinations and can be applied to machine safety in hydrocarbon refining, chemical process, grain elevators, other agricultural or food processing equipment.
The GSX switch can be applied to a gate, cage or access panel that is positioned as hard guarding to a dangerous machine so that, when opened, the machine stops. Explosion-proof safety switches are required on machinery found in hazardous locations, where hazardous gasses or dusts could cause an explosion. The positive break mechanism will ensure that even welded contacts will open and the machine will stop in an emergency. The positive break feature is designed to provide a safe failure mode, ensuring the machine will not start, and therefore supporting a safer working environment.

The Buccaneer Antenna is a robust and completely waterproof antenna specifically developed for three popular frequency bands.
Integrating the antenna with its waterproof connector can reduce the total number of connectors in the RF chain, reducing insertion losses, effectively increasing the total system gain.
The PX0407 covers the 2.4GHz band popular for wireless LAN, Bluetooth and Zigbee, while the PX0408 covers the UHF 440-470MHz band popular for general purpose radio applications and the PX0409 covers the 850-900/1800/1900MHz bands popular for GSM/Cellular applications.
Designed to the same style as Bulgin’s SMB Buccaneer, the sealed antenna has an integrated SMB connector with an overall diameter of just 19mm and the mating panel connector has a panel fixing hole of 16mm diameter. Rated at IP68, the antenna provides complete protection from harsh environments, and all electrical connections are gold plated to ensure system performance and reliability is maintained.
The mating panel connector, PX0414, with an SMB jack, is terminated with RG-174 cable in 0.5m, 1.0m or 1.5m lengths, this provides fast assembly to the panel and only requires termination into the equipment.
Having a two-part solution with removable antenna and panel connector makes installation and testing a much simpler process, whilst also ensuring that the environmental seal and enclosure integrity are maintained.
Typical application areas are industrial, scientific and medical (ISM) radio for instrumentation and telemetry systems, including Zigbee. Additional applications are base stations and outdoor hotspot installations, specifically for wireless LAN, GSM and Bluetooth communication equipment.

ABB now offers a comprehensive range of 22.5 mm, within the CM series, to protect sensitive equipment from adverse three-phase voltages. The product range extends from the full protection
multifunction three-phase monitor, CM-MPS, to single-function devices for monitoring single parameters.
The CM-MPS is a multifunction monitoring relay. It monitors all phase parameters including: phase sequence, phase failure, over- and undervoltage and phase unbalance. It is available with or without monitoring of the neutral conductor. Seven devices with a graded scope of functions complete the CM product range. Arcolectric’s latest design is a new toggle switch with integral IP67 sealing.
The new 3900 switch, with body designation ‘E’ for single pole and ‘F’ for double pole, incorporates internal and external seals to provide panel sealing to IP67. This eliminates the need to fit additional clumsy toggle covers, therefore making the switch straightforward to use and quicker to assemble.
Rated at 20A, 277Vac, it is available with ON-OFF, ON-ON and three position ON-OFF-ON switching. The panel mounting hole is the industry standard 12.7mm diameter, terminals are 6.3mm tabs or solder tags and the levers manufactured from nickel plated brass.
This new version of Arcolectric’s popular 3900 series is ideal for both internal and external applications where the environmental integrity of the equipment must be maintained against the ingress of dust or water.
