Arcolectric's 8200 & 8300 Miniature Push Button switch ranges now have higher current ratings. Both ranges have been re-assessed for ENEC approval to 12(12)A 250Vac at 105?C for 10,000 operations.
The extensive 8300 range is available with either illuminated or non-illuminated buttons, in single or double pole with momentary or latching switch action. There are options for various switching functions, terminal styles - including push on, solder and PCB terminals, along with options for actuators, body finish, colours and legend printing.
The 8200 range is sub panel mount with a choice of actuator types and terminal styles and orientation, these include push-on, solder and PCB terminals.
Both ranges have UL & CSA approval, as well as ENEC approval to the new higher current rating.
This higher inductive rating further extends the applications for these two families of switches into motor switching applications where the initial switching current can be far higher than a resistive load.

Schurter extends its range of DC rated filters with the introduction of series FMEB and FMEC. These filters are especially optimised for use in DC applications, particularly those requiring increased attenuation of asymmetric disturbances.
Applications include DC supplied IT and telecom infrastructures, as well as branch and automation control circuits for the machine and transportation industries. When used in the electrical supply cabinets, the filters guarantee safe operation of the system by attenuating external disturbances.
The filters have a current rating of 30 A at 80 VDC and are offered in single and dual polarity output circuits. The single polarity FMEB filter is designed for a maximum operating voltage of 80 VDC, while the FMEC series offers connections for two polarities for a maximum + 80 VDC. The aluminium housing is potted and has metal flanges for secure mounting to the chassis. The input side is equipped with screw clamps and the output has 6.3 mm x 0.8 mm quick connect terminals. Other terminal configurations are available upon request.

New Sensor Features Extended Operating Ranges, Supply Voltages
and Output Configurations to Simplify Control System Compatibility
Honeywell introduces 17 new RPN Series Hall-Effect Rotary Position Sensors that simplify customer use by providing the inputs, outputs and voltage ranges needed for nearly any control system.
Eight operating ranges up to 360° give customers greater control system accuracy by allowing them to select a range more closely suited to their application. Five supply voltage outputs (5 Vdc to 30 Vdc) and eight output configurations (mA or Vdc) improve compatibility with a variety of control systems. Linearity as low as ±0.35° provides customers with increased measurement precision. This precision can be essential depending on the application. Two connector choices (AMP Superseal, Deutsch) satisfy customer connection requirements. The RPN Series’ products also share the same footprint, eliminating special recalibrations and simplifying use.
The RPN Series sensors use solid state Hall-effect technology, providing non-contact operation, enhancing service life and reducing wear-out mechanisms. This Series uses a magnetically based, Hall-effect integrated circuit (IC) to sense rotary movement of the actuator shaft over an operating range. The IC, together with conditioning and protection circuitry and two permanent magnets, is sealed in a rugged package of IP67 or greater for durability in harsh environments. A dual output version is available for redundancy and backup.
This product introduction extends a robust portfolio of position sensors that are found in thousands of vehicles and equipment worldwide. Potential applications include position and movement detection of pedals, throttle, gear shift, levers, linkages suspension and hitches in trucks; off-road vehicles; industrial and construction vehicles and equipment; agricultural vehicles and equipment; and cranes.

The proven MAH120 handheld scanner is a robust and economical handheld for all standard bar codes and 2D codes. It can read codes from any direction over a distance of 20 to 150mm depending on the symbology. A special version with white LEDs is also now available giving the ability to read both red and green codes.
Confirmation of the code is achieved by means of LED, vibration and acoustic signals. The handheld can be programmed using a simple software program or by configuration data matrix codes. There is also an additional option of creating customer-specific solutions with a JavaScript editor. Furthermore, the Linux core of the operating system opens up still more options.

This unique accessory provides a rear of panel seal to Bulgin’s panel mounting waterproof Buccaneer connectors.
The PX0799 backshell replaces the existing panel nut, fixing the connector in place, and provides dust and water protection up to IP68 between the panel and the cable at the rear. This allows a through panel seal with waterproof connections both sides of the panel whilst still retaining a re-wireable capability.
Using the same cable gland sealing system as the standard Buccaneer cable connectors, it will accommodate 6 to 8mm diameter cable as standard, extending from 3.5 to 9.0 with alternative sealing glands.

New D1D and D2D series solid state relays add to Crydom's
already extensive offer for high-current DC applications
such as heater, lighting and motor control
Crydom's D1D and D2D series of FET output DC Solid State Relays formerly rated up to 40 amps at 100 VDC and 12 amps at 200 VDC, now includes new models rated at 60, 80 and 100 amps at 100 VDC, as well as 40 amps at 200 VDC. The new models which are offered in the industry standard "hockey puck" SSR package, adds to Crydom's present offer which includes the D06 rated to 100 amps at 60 VDC, D2D & D4D series rated to 12 amps and D5D models rated to 10 amps at 200, 400 and 500 VDC respectively.
The new D1D relays feature a low on-state resistance FET output capable of carrying 60, 80 or 100 amps when the SSR is mounted on an appropriately rated heat sink. Likewise, the new D2D40 features a similar FET design rated to 40 amps with appropriate heat sink. Control for these Crydom DC output SSRs is by a transformer isolated 3 to 32 VDC logic compatible input providing 2500 VAC input to output isolation. The outputs are diode protected and specified to operate up to 1 kHz.
Crydom DC output SSRs are ideal for heating and lighting control as well as motor control in commercial, industrial, medical, aerospace, rail and automotive applications.

Schurter is pleased to announce the added snap-in version of the series 5003 DC power entry module for 48V telecom and other DC-powered equipment. The new DC module features two different standard connector styles, AMP Universal MATE-N-LOK and Molex HCS-125. The connectors are encased with a single stage filter rated up to 15 A at 125 VDC. The filters provide wide-band attenuation in frequencies ranging from 100 kHz to 30 MHz.
Demand for higher data processing and transmission speeds, at the Customer Premises Equipment level, pushes demand upstream to Internet Service Providers and eventually to the core Central Office services. This movement toward higher speed and functionality brings with it the challenge of effectively managing potentially harmful electro-magnetic interferences in equipment used throughout these communications systems. While filtered AC power entry modules have become a popular solution for filtering AC power lines, the concept of a DC filtered power entry module, specifically for telecom equipment, is relatively new.
The 5003 provides optimal shielding at the panel opening. It includes a screw mount version for front or rear mounting to the chassis as well as the new snap-in version. The version for rear mounting allows for pre-wiring of the module prior to installation. Labor cost saving options can be realized by using either the snap-in version or the rear mount version with its pre-threaded holes.
The non potted design provides maximum performance in a lightweight and environmentally friendly compact package. The series is ENEC and cURs approved and complies with IEC/EN 60950 standard, for office and IT equipment. Applications include network routers, LAN switches, WAN switches and multiplexers, as well as other equipment using DC power supplies.
