NGR
The NGR line of full-sized rocker switches, initially developed for the heavy truck industry, is now found in a variety of vehicle related applications. The standard actuator is a clean, European-styled, two-face rocker made of high-quality thermoplastic material.
The field-proven NGR offers both European styling and ergonomic design while providing the solid durability that you have come to expect from Eaton switches. Illuminated and non-illuminated versions with either incandescent bulbs or LEDs are available in a variety of popular switching circuits. The NGR also offers a variety of rocker buttons and indicators with laser-etched or pad-printed icons, insertable lenses and adhesive-backed labels.
Features
• Standard switch provides splash and dust resistance to IP42, while the sealed version is sealed to IP67 when supplied with panel seal.
• Backlighting technique allows for the legend to appear daylight white or dead-front when non-illuminated, but will change color when illuminated depending on the back-lit color chosen.

SCHURTER extends its successful family of chassis mounted filters for 1-phase systems, FMAB NEO with the new series FMAB HV. It is suitable for applications up to 277 VAC as well as 400 VDC. In North America, there are various 1-phase applications in the 3-phase 480/277 VAC network. 400 VDC is often used in modern data centers with DC power supply. The single-stage filter series combines a compact design with a high level of performance.
With 277 VAC and 400 VDC approval, the new FMAB HV filter family offers the greatest possible flexibility for various applications. Today, more and more mixed AC and DC power supplies are used for better energy efficiency and/or improved reliability. In these applications, the filter can be used on both the AC and DC sides.
The new filter series has a shiny steel housing with a closed filter base. This effectively shields the filter, no matter how it is mounted. The filter series is particularly suitable for devices with high symmetrical interferences, such as devices with semiconductors, which regulate high outputs (e.g. commercial coffee machines, hot water dispensing machines, and all types of industrial electronics). Due to their compact design, the filters are also ideally suited for medical and household appliances.
The filters are available with quick connect terminals 6.3 x 0.8mm. They have a metal flange for easy mounting on the chassis. The entire filter family can be used over a temperature range from -40 °C to 100 °C.
The series is designed for currents from 1 A to 20 A at 277 VAC / 277 VDC according to IEC standard and 277 VAC and 400 VDC according to UL/CSA standard. It has ENEC and cURus approval and is suitable for applications according to IEC 60950. For medical devices according to IEC/UL 60601-1, variants with low leakage currents <80 μA (M80) or without leakage current <5 μA (M5) are available.
Versions with built-in varistors for effective overvoltage protection are available on request.

Whatever your application, the easyE4 control relay allows for control systems that are efficient, flexible and easy to implement. The new easyE4 range is significantly more compact than the previous easy500, easy700 and easy800 series.
Thanks to the flexible expansion with up to 11 modules to a maximum of 188 inputs/outputs, as well as the large voltage range, the easyE4 is ideally suited for industrial and building applications. For additional flexibility, the intuitive easySoft programming software comes with four programming languages as standard, including function block diagram (FBD) and structured text (ST). New helpful function blocks, such as the automatic e-mail notification, as well as the possibility of creating own function blocks facilitate the programming for each user.
Thanks to the integrated web server, both mobile devices or an HMI can be used for visualization purposes. If used in combination with other products from the Eaton portfolio, the easyE4 can also be integrated into IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) system architectures via the integrated Ethernet interface. In combination with the interrupt function, the powerful processor enables faster processing and response times during operation.

Schurter is now offering proven test circuit boards for the DKIH-1 and DKIH-3 high-current chokes. With these, an EMI filter circuit for 1- or 3-phase systems can be set up and tested easily and quickly in an iterative process without having to make any adjustments to the layout of your own PCB.
Every developer of an electrical or electronic device is faced with the same problem: In the end, the device must comply with international EMC guidelines regarding emission and immission. Problems, often of an unpredictable nature, mostly arise in the power section. Like most electronic assemblies, the power section is increasingly being mounted on printed circuit boards using discrete components. A compact filter directly on the printed circuit board with discrete components is therefore usually the best solution. And a current-compensated choke with capacitors is the most efficient measure for EMC suppression.
DKIH-EVB
With the new SCHURTER DKIH-EVB (Evaluation Board) test circuit boards, a wide variety of filter configurations can be quickly calibrated with the DKIH series of current-compensated chokes without making any changes to an existing PCB layout. With high L and C values, the vast majority of disturbances can be adequately attenuated. The art of filter design, however, lies in finding an effective and at the same time cost-optimized combination of components. Often, slightly smaller L and C values are sufficient if these are perfectly combined. An EMC measurement of the finished system or device is indispensable for the declaration of conformity.

Schurter's RTS thermal fuse, successfully launched in 2018, gets a new variant with an integrated shunt. The RTS is a particularly compact overtemperature protection device for power semiconductors in SMD technology for highest demands.
RTS stands for Reflowable Thermal Switch. It was developed to protect highly integrated power semiconductors from overheating. Prior to mechanical activation, the new thermal fuse can be soldered on conventional reflow soldering machines with profiles up to 260 °C.
Minimal Footprint
The new overtemperature protection device comes in the same minimal dimensions and maximum breaking capacity despite its additional shunt functionality. On its small 6.6 x 8.8 mm footprint the RTS can handle operating currents of up to 130 A and rated voltages of up to 60 VDC.
Integrated Current Measuring Sensor (Shunt)
The shunt version has an integrated resistance with particularly low temperature dependence. This resistance, known as a shunt, enables precise current measurement and enables an additional – non-thermal – circuit protection, e.g. via a controller.
Protection Against Thermal Runaway
Thermal runaway refers to the overheating of a power semiconductor due to a self-reinforcing, heat-producing process. One of the reason is the trend towards increasing power density and miniaturization of electronic circuits. The RTS protects these power semiconductors against thermal runaway. In such an event, the thermal fuse reliably interrupts the circuit at a precisely defined temperature as a fail-safe device.
